Thomas E. Blair, MD graduated suma cum laude with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University, New York and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He received his medical degree from UCLA school of medicine where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. For residency he specialized in Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA. After graduation, he worked as a team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers and was awarded a World Series ring and two National League Championship rings for his medical contributions to the team. He is currently the Acting Chief of Emergency Medicine at the West Los Angeles VA and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at UCLA. He is passionate about medical education and has co-authored several medical textbooks and numerous textbook chapters.
